A downloadable DOdGE for Windows

DOdge is my first ever game programming challenge and true project. Started as a test to see if I was able to develop videogames, it became one of my main hobbies and passions. I started building it a while ago, around 2-3 years ago (2023). The game was inspired by the Godot Guide on how to make your first 2D game. I took that tutorial, followed it, and came to the conclusion that "I wanted more". So i started adding main menus, pause menus, dynamic UIs, incremental difficulty, collectibles and special items. It was a really great satisfaction seeing my first ever project come to life. Looking back at my spaghetti code, made me realize how, in these years, I improved and how my skills became more and more accurate and efficient.

Install instructions

Download the ZIP file and extract the contents. Inside the folder "DOdGE" you'll find the executable "DOdGE.exe". If Windows Defender says it's unsafe, don't worry, I don't yet know how to avoid this, but, I assure you, the game is 100% safe to execute. Just click on Advanced Options and click "Execute anyways". Have fun!
